Are the Paceshifters gonna earn lots of money?

We were asked by Digimuziek.nl to put our music on Spotify..
It seems to be pretty unclear what Artists are earning when their music is streamed on the otherwise beautiful program Spotify. Digimuziek would like to find out, so they needed the music from a (as of yet) unsigned band to put the music on Spotify.

Everything is settled now so our single “I Don’t Listen” is available on Spotify. Do you have Spotify? Please listen to our single here. Don’t have Spotify? Download it now… It is a nice program! And then please listen to our single once (or more:-)). That way Digimuziek.nl can find out what the earnings for Artists are on Spotify and at least you’ll have a nice way to listen to music through the internet.

We just got back from South-Africa.. Not to watch a soccer game but we had a photoshoot!
It was a good day and the result is there. To give you a little view of the day we made a little movie;-)

Yeah luckily we still have some time to got to concerts ourselves:-)..
Today we ordered tickets for our “band’s night out”.

Friday june 11th we will support Peter Pan Speedrock in het Burgerweeshuis te Deventer!
The venue will open at 9pm and the damage is 12 euro.

Yeaah, het debuut album is nu helemaal opgenomen, Paul heeft deze week de laatste zang opgenomen. Dus nu is het aan Jochem om het album helemaal af te mixen en te masteren. Zojuist heb ik al drie premixjes gehoord, klinkt lekker!
Aan het eind van deze maand hebben we een fotoshoot voor het artwork van het album, hoop dat het vet gaat worden! Oja, waar we ook mee bezig zijn is onze release party, maar dat duurt nog even, waarschijnlijk rond oktober. Maar daar horen jullie allemaal nog wel meer over!

Allright, just a quick update for you guys. Today we were at the studio again, to finish the record?!? Uhm, almost! We did it for a big part till Paul’s voice was fucked up again! Another meeting than? The shitty thing is that it’s only for 15 minutes of singing, 1 minute on the record..

But hey! It’s gonna be awesome! Fucking awesome! So we’re not gonna settle for just okay now. In about three weeks Paul is going for the REALLY last day(well, 15 minutes) to record the last vocals. What we also did today is the groupvocals, and we went through all the songs for the final check. It’s almost Jochem’s turn for his real work:-) We are very curious how this turns out, but it’s gonna be killer anyway! O, what we also did today is give the album a title. We will tell you the title later!

Groupvocals HEY!

Ok, Paul its your turn today! What? Vocals? Yea Paul’s voice was a little fucked up today;-) Yesterday he sang all day till 10:30 PM. So we did a feedbacksession today.. Cowbell, beatring, and acoustic guitar(Thanks Erik!). So apart from
Paul vocals the record is as good as done. In two weeks we are going into the studio for one more day. Then we can really say we are finished and Jochem has to do the rest of the work:-)
This Friday we will have a show at Hedon in Zwolle with Shaking Godspeed and Peter Pan Speedrock. Then Paul’s voice will be okay again… Right?!

Feedback Session!

Damn, what a long day.. But it’s good that we did it, because today we did a lot. All solo’s are done now. Tomorrow we only need a feedback session and then the we’ve finished the guitar parts! YEAH! We already recorded some vocals today so we’re on schedule. Tomorrow it’s Koen’s turn again to do his cowbell and beatring parts. O, and I almost forget his “One Two Three Four”! That’s a hard part…

WENGWENGWENGGG… Solo guitar! This morning we started with the solo guitar, when we did three songs with solo guitar we started the vocals.. Screaming for a while to fuck up your voice, and then GO! The vocals sound AMAZING!

After we prepared our beds it’s time to go eat and sleep!
